Thanks Cameron for another stimulating article, this country has deep roots sunk in imperialism and lobby groups have formed a ring of steel around policy makers which civil society organisations cannot penetrate and demonstrations will be out lawed or beaten down by the state.. We can't even have a discussion about franking credits or marginally taxing massive individual superannuation funds with assets over 3 million or proper health and education facilities for the population without vested interest lobbyists wringing the policy-makers ears and freaked out pensioners telling msm that they lives are finished because of proposed equitable policy changes.

Now we need to make the Military Industrial complex and well funding hard right organisations back down from their 50 year campaign to control Australia as they see fit whilst their weapons of choice populists aka Pauline Hanson funded by Gina Rhinitis is in full stride with the Islamophobic dogwhilsting whilst the ancient religious followers hold sway at the Royal commission into well what exactly I wonder.

These issues you discussed are not even part of the mindset of such a large part of Australia's population as they are disenfranchised from any necessary support that was provided by the state 50 years ago and helped that generation succeed where this one is sorely struggling.

I wholeheartedly support you in the event you wish to sit against Andrew Hastie in the next election or whatever endeavour you feel would benefit your skills.

Cheers Cameron!

We are rapidly becoming a nation of sleepwalkers mesmerised by the belief in the myth that we are living in the lucky country. More accurately, we are water carriers for the Americans and the Brits.
